1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, creating an account, linking a device, purchasing a plan, or using SnapCARE, you agree to these Terms and the SnapCARE Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service and revoke any permissions already granted.
“SnapCARE,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the SnapCARE developer identified in the Google Play listing. The contact for this version is MH Tech.
2. Eligibility, parent authority, and child role
A parent account may be used only by an adult or other person legally authorized to supervise the linked child and devices. By creating or using a parent account, you confirm that you have the authority and all consent required to:
- create or approve a child account and family link;
- view the child’s location, app inventory, screen-time activity, requests, and Snap Reviews;
- set routines, safe zones, app limits, and optional emergency-lock commands; and
- grant the Android permissions used on a device you own, manage, or are legally authorized to supervise.
A child must use SnapCARE only with parent or guardian permission. Users must provide accurate role, age, profile, and family-link information. SnapCARE is not intended for covert monitoring of adults, employees, partners, or any person without lawful notice and authorization.
3. What SnapCARE provides
Family connectionPrivate six-digit codes connect an authenticated parent and child account.
Digital wellbeingUsage summaries, app limits, schedules, routines, approvals, and activity history.
Family locationLive child-device location, parent-defined safe zones, and related alerts.
Snap ReviewsShort child-recorded proof sent to the parent or, when explicitly selected, an AI reviewer.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app for lawful family purposes in accordance with these Terms, the Google Play terms, and applicable law. SnapCARE and its code, design, branding, and service components remain owned by the developer and licensors.
4. Accounts, security, and family linking
- Keep passwords, Google account access, devices, and six-digit family codes secure.
- Do not share a family code publicly or use a code for a person you are not authorized to link.
- Promptly unlink a lost, transferred, or no-longer-supervised device and contact us if an account may be compromised.
- You are responsible for actions performed through your account until you notify us of unauthorized access.
- One person must not misrepresent a child role as a parent role or vice versa.
We may require re-authentication or reasonable verification before sensitive support, correction, or deletion actions.
5. Device permissions and parental controls
SnapCARE’s protection depends on Android permissions and services selected during setup. The app explains each use before directing the user to Android settings.
- Core protection: location, background location, Usage Access, app/package visibility, Accessibility Service, display-over-apps, notifications, foreground/background operation, and battery-optimization exemption support the requested family safety features.
- Optional emergency lock: Device Admin can be skipped. If enabled, SnapCARE uses it only for a parent-requested screen lock and does not erase device data.
- Optional Snap Review: camera access is used only when the child chooses to record proof.
Android, device manufacturers, network conditions, power-saving modes, revoked permissions, force-stop, device restart, unsupported OS behavior, or another app can delay or prevent enforcement, syncing, notifications, and location updates. Parents must verify the child device’s current protection status rather than assuming a command succeeded.
No emergency guarantee. Do not rely on SnapCARE as the only way to locate, contact, supervise, protect, or respond to a child. Contact local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
6. Snap Reviews and AI decisions
A Snap Review is a short video recorded by the child to demonstrate a parent-defined activity or goal. The child chooses either manual parent review or AI review. Manual-review videos are available to the linked parent. If AI review is selected, the video and its goal/app context are processed by Amazon Bedrock Nova through SnapCARE’s cloud function.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or mistaken and must not be treated as a medical, safety, educational, legal, or disciplinary judgment. The parent remains responsible for deciding appropriate family boundaries. Users must not submit dangerous, unlawful, intimate, exploitative, or unrelated content; personal documents; payment information; or another person’s image without permission.
7. Subscriptions, trials, and Google Play purchases
Paid plans, prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, renewal terms, taxes, and offers are displayed by Google Play before purchase and may vary by country or account. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not directly by SnapCARE.
- An auto-renewing subscription renews unless canceled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time.
- Manage or cancel through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Deleting or uninstalling SnapCARE does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
- Refunds, payment disputes, and purchase eligibility are governed by Google Play’s policies and applicable law.
- If entitlement cannot be verified, premium features may be temporarily unavailable until Google Play reports an active purchase.
We may change future prices or plan features with notice provided through Google Play or the app as required. Changes do not override rights granted by applicable consumer law.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use SnapCARE to:
- monitor, locate, record, lock, or restrict a person or device without lawful authority and meaningful notice;
- harass, stalk, threaten, coerce, abuse, exploit, or endanger a child or any other person;
- circumvent authorization, access another family’s data, guess or harvest family codes, or compromise accounts;
- upload malware or unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, infringing, or privacy-invasive content;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, scrape, automate abuse of, or bypass safeguards in the service except where applicable law expressly permits;
- misrepresent an AI result, location update, app limit, or Snap Review as proof of physical safety or legal compliance; or
- use the service in violation of Google Play rules, third-party terms, or applicable law.
We may restrict access, preserve relevant records, or report content when reasonably necessary to protect a child, other users, the service, or comply with law.
9. User content and family instructions
You retain rights you hold in profile photos, Snap Review videos, routine text, block reasons, and other content you submit. You grant SnapCARE and its service providers a limited license to host, copy, transmit, format, display to the linked family, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the selected features.
You confirm that you have the rights and consent needed for submitted content. Parent-defined goals and messages must be age-appropriate, lawful, respectful, and safe. Do not require a child to perform unsafe actions or reveal sensitive information to obtain app access.
10. Privacy
The SnapCARE Privacy Policy explains the personal and sensitive data processed by the app, including location, installed apps, usage activity, Accessibility Service behavior, camera media, notification tokens, family links, subscriptions, providers, retention, and deletion.
By using a feature, you instruct SnapCARE to process the data needed for that feature, subject to the permission and consent controls described in the app and Privacy Policy.
11. Third-party services
SnapCARE relies on Google Play, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Maps/Places, Google Play Billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and—only for selected AI Snap Reviews—Amazon Bedrock. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party outages, account decisions, map accuracy, billing systems, or changes outside our control.
Open-source and platform components may be subject to their respective licenses. These Terms do not grant rights in Google, Android, Firebase, Amazon, or other third-party marks.
12. Service changes, updates, and availability
We may improve, add, modify, limit, or discontinue features; issue security or compatibility updates; or change provider infrastructure. Some changes may be necessary because Android, Google Play, Firebase, device manufacturers, or law changes. We will provide notice of material changes when required.
Internet, Google/Firebase availability, a compatible Android version, device storage/battery, and correctly granted permissions are required for many features. We do not promise uninterrupted, real-time, or error-free service. “Live” location and “active” protection indicate the most recent data available, which may be delayed.
13. Suspension, termination, unlinking, and deletion
You may stop using SnapCARE, revoke permissions, unlink a child, and request account/data deletion. Unlinking is not the same as deleting stored account data. To request deletion, follow the prominent process in the Privacy Policy’s account-deletion section.
We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, child-safety risk, security threat, nonpayment, or when needed to comply with law. Where reasonable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Terms that logically continue after termination—including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, content responsibility, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—remain effective.

14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapCARE is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Location can be inaccurate or stale; a device can be offline; limits can fail when Android services or permissions are disabled; notifications can be delayed; and AI or human reviews can be mistaken. SnapCARE does not replace parenting, direct communication, emergency services, professional advice, or device/operating-system security.
Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees, remedies, or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapCARE and its developer, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, opportunity, or goodwill; or harm arising from delayed/inaccurate location, failed limits, missed notifications, unauthorized device/account access, user content, or reliance on a review result.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for SnapCARE during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law. This limitation does not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law that applies to the SnapCARE developer and the user’s transaction, without overriding mandatory consumer, privacy, or child-protection rights in the user’s place of residence. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us with a clear description so the parties can try to resolve the issue informally. A user may also use any court, regulator, or dispute process available under non-waivable local law.
If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a lawful business reorganization while preserving applicable rights.
